Nu Gold, Nickel Silver, Copper Wire, and Beads
Inspired by the designs and patterns seen in traditional Indian jewelry, this piece focused upon the use of hollow forms in metalworking. This particular necklace has nine segments of hollow-formed metal and incorporates pearlesque beads arranged at the neckline and on rings at the base of each segment—which is often seen in ceremonial jewelry from India.

Sheet Glass, Glass Cane, and Chicken Wire
The occupation of space was the focus for this sculpture, as well as how an object may interact with that space. This piece, made up of several hundred hand-cut half inch tiles of sheet glass, shows a ship riding a wave that is cascading off of a table after spilling out of a bottle. The ship itself is made entirely out of glass, and the wave was shaped using chicken wire with each glass tile attached to it one-by-one until the sculpture was completely covered.
